Thanks for all the interest in our group of bulls at The National Western Stock Show this year. It was easily our most successful Denver to date. A few of the highlights of the week were:
1. Nearly all of our "New In 2012" sires made it to Denver and were on display, while other producers chose to promote with just a picture. If you didn't make it to Denver, be sure to check them all out at stud this spring.
2. Two competing bull promoters attempted to buy into two of our 2012 display sires, it becomes clearer which bulls are superior when they get next to each other.
3. Outstanding "Embryos On Snow" event including sibs to Bodacious bringing $4350 for a package of three. Also Monopoly x Firewater eggs brought $12,000 for a package of three
4. Grand Champion Breeding Heifer in Maintainer Junior Show was shown by Vada Vickland of Longmont, Colorado. A Monopoly sired female that was sold by Cory Thomsen/Bushy Park and raised By Tom Hunt of Ohio.
5. Monopoly sired 11 display sires in the yards, the most of any sire. Heat Wave sired the 2nd most bulls on display with 6. Those two bulls along with I-80 will continue to be the stand by sires this coming spring.
Look for cattle.com's videos of our bulls and others to be posted this week.
